Combine learning with service in this unique workshop.
Enjoy an afternoon of creating plant-based medicine while learning the techniques to create your own home apothecary. And the best part? Your hard work will help create healing herbal remedies to share with Dublin’s underserved communities through the Capuchin Day Centre and other soup kitchens.
Participants will go home with new skills, several newly prepared remedies to enjoy personally or give as holiday gifts, and the knowledge that they have made batches of sweet, sweet herbal medicine that will offer healing to those who need it most.
Join Lorna Mauney-Brodek, an Atlanta-based herbalist, for this hands-on workshop. Lorna is the founder of the Herb Bus, a traveling free herbal clinic that provides earth-based care for communities in need.
